A Career Coach will partner with you to understand your career goals.  If you are in transition, your coach will help you determine next steps, a new role, a new organization or a totally new direction.  If you are just starting out, your coach will help you explore opportunities and narrow down your focus to achieve your desired role.

We specialize in a wide range of industries including commercial insurance, technology, finance, and professional services. However, we can work with individuals in any industry to help them achieve their career goals.

Coaching sessions typically continue for 1-3 months, depending on the individual need.  After an initial consultation, you and your coach can decide how best to structure the arrangement for coaching sessions.

Yes, your career coach will help you create an effective resume and cover letter that showcases your strengths and achievements. We can edit an existing resume or create one from scratch. We can also provide feedback and suggestions for improvement, as well as help you prepare for an interview.

Yes.  We offer individual or group sessions.  Group sessions can be helpful as participants share experiences and can offer additional insights based on experience.

Coaching sessions are scheduled with hourly rate or a project rate, depending on the need of the client.  Following the initial consultation, a fee structure will be determined.  Working with the right coach is an investment in yourself.  Depending on your goals, coaching can improve your job satisfaction, your career prospects, and your earning potential.

All of the coaches with The Career Corner are degreed professionals with extensive Human Resource and coaching experience.  Each has worked in a number of industries and are well-versed in the field of career development.
