Vickie Causa is principal owner of CausaAssociates, LLC.  Her HR career path has been educational, rewarding and very fulfilling - her Psychology background seemed a natural fit for the world of Human Resources.  Vickie began her career as an administrative assistant in the HR department of a global pharmaceutical company.  Through job changes and a thirst for learning, she worked her way through all facets of Human Resources, Training and Development, and gained her certified career coach designation. She rose to the level of Senior Vice President of HR, learning and growing along the way. Vickie's corporate global HR career gave her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the US and Canada, where she gained an appreciation for working with people from various cultures, backgrounds and value systems.  From designing, developing and conducting training and career development sessions throughout Asia, to building world-class HR teams in Europe, the US and Canada, coaching and counseling have become the cornerstone of her success.  This experience taught her invaluable lessons she is eager to share. 

Vickie started CausaAssociates, LLC in 2008 as an HR consulting firm, assisting small businesses with HR advice, and creating our signature "HR in a Box" which provided basic tools and direction for start-ups.  They designed and conducted The Job Seeker workshop for individuals in transition, made presentations to various job clubs and helped countless individuals gain the confidence they needed to develop a personal career campaign.  Vickie hosted seminars for high school students to help them understand it's never too soon to think about career choices, educational opportunities and how to navigate the landscape for success, and CausaAssociates, LLC formed The Job Club, a place for individuals seeking new opportunities to share experiences and job leads. 

Additionally,  CausaAssociates, LLC hosted a weekly internet talk show entitled All Things Employment on the former CBS-sponsored "Chat About It' channel. Among the guests on the show were professionals from backgrounds including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Outplacement, Communication, Psychology, and Image Consulting.  Listeners were able to call in to the live broadcast to speak with and interact with the hosts and guests.    Vickie's weekly column in a local newspaper also entitled All Things Employment, gave readers a view of the employment landscape what to look for, what to avoid. 

Today, CausaAssociates, LLC is pleased to introduce The Career Corner.  Engaging with The Career Corner, individuals will have an opportunity to work one-on-one with a career coach - a professional who helps empower working professionals and recent graduates entering the workforce to make educated decisions on the direction of their careers.  Using an array of tools, a Coach will assist individuals with direction and guidance as it relates to their work or profession, including career planning, career changes, career advice and career decisions.  Engaging a career coach is a proactive approach to building mental fitness - a personalized approach to fit a client and cover a range of career topics.  A good coach is an active listener, a strong communicator committed to an individual's growth and development.
